Calendar Updates

August            27        First Day of School No bussing or hot lunch  7:45 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.

                        30 & Sept. 2  No school – Labor Day weekend

Sept.              3          Bussing & Hot lunch available

6-8       Elephant Ears Wagon @ Wheatland

 

Monday Folders: The oldest child attending our school will bring home notes and information on Mondays.  If there is not school on Mondays, they go home on Tuesdays.

 

Note & Calendar: A Principal’s Note and calendar were mailed to your home the week of August 6th.  Please let Mrs. McCall know if you did not receive this note. 

 

Mass Days: We will go to church on Fridays, but this week we will have Mass on Thursday at 9 a.m.  Everyone is welcome to join us! Next Friday the 5th and 6th graders will be planning Mass.

 

No bussing or hot lunch the first week of school. 

 

Elephant Ears @ Wheatland: Remember, this activity is the first weekend following Labor Day.  Sign up by contacting Amy Fiegel at 989 -967-5241.

Parent/Student Handbook: Handbooks will be sent to parents’ email addresses.  If you need a paper copy please stop in the office.  The last page, receipt of handbook, must be signed and turned in to the office.

Mrs. McCall has a copy of the back page in the office in case you cannot print one.

 

Protecting God’s Children (VIRTUS): Classroom teachers will teach one class per semester.  You may preview  materials in the office.
 

Latchkey/Day Care: Amy Fiegel is offering a Latchkey program afterschool. She also runs a day care during the day at our school.  You may contact her at 989- 289- 5241 for details.

 

Inside Shoes:  Students need to have a clean pair of inside shoes that stay at school.  These may also be their gym shoes.

 

VIRTUS Training: Adult training in our area: Go to www.virtus.org On left choose registration.  Choose view list of sessions and pick Saginaw, MI Diocese.  There are several for Mt. Pleasant.  There are some listed in the Grand Rapids Diocese but none as close as Sacred Heart, Mt. Pleasant. Volunteers must have this class.  Even drivers for field trips must complete this class.
