Home & School Meeting: Tuesday, Oct. 8^th @ 6:30 in Rm 6.  Please join us!

NWEA: Northwest Evaluation Association is the assessment tool we use to measure students growth in grades 2 – 6.  There is a student/parent tab for resources at  www.nwea.org.  As in years past, we ask that your child have a good night’s rest along with a nutritional breakfast. Testing window closes Oct. 25^th.

Tiger Tuesday: Oct. 8 Off Code: Wear your Tiger gear to show your support for our Tigers.  Tiger hats are allowed !

Mass Days: This Friday the 3/ 4^th  graders will be planning Friday’s 9 a.m. Mass. Everyone is welcome to join us!  

Pizza Sale: Pizza orders are due Friday, Oct. 11^th. Delivery & pick up date is Thursday, Oct. 17^th. Thanks to Abby Young for chairing this event.  Some people ask why we do “fundraisers” when we are a stewardship parish. Some years ago a grandmother told us she wanted to order this product and wished we held these sales.  In no way do we want the children involved in a door to door selling campaign. Many of us are like the grandmother that wants to have these products and have our school benefit at the same time.  The upcoming Poinsettia sale is similar .  Convenience + CCW ladies loved the festive entry way to the cookie walk.  Please anyone feeling this compromises your stewardship values, it is okay to abstain from this activity.

Picture Retakes: Tuesday, Oct. 15 in morning from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.  Make sure you return the entire picture package you received.   

Grandparents/VIP Day: Thank you, parents, for all you did to make our day with Grandparents & VIPs so special!  Our Home & School is off to a great start.  The staff and I appreciate working with such wonderful parents.

Cold Weather = Cold Building: Send sweatshirts that can be worn in school. Remember crew neck sweatshirts do not have to have the school logo.  Check out the dress code in Parent/Student Handbook. 

Fates’ Food Receipts & Country Corner Receipts: Mrs. McCall is accepting these in the office.  Last year playground equipment and school supplies were ordered from the points we accumulated. Thank you. 

Campbell Soup Labels/Box Tops: Our annual contest will begin soon!  Save those labels and box tops for your child’s classroom. I heard Mr. Lobert will try to regain the championship! Watch expiration dates.  If they are expiring, get them in now.

Alleluia Auction: A note came home earlier regarding baskets for the auction from classrooms.  Thanks you for sending in items!

Delays & Cancellations: St. Michael School follows Chippewa Hills' delays and cancellations.  If they are closed, we are closed.  Sometimes the television will list our name, and sometimes they do not.  There will not be morning preschool on days beginning with delays.
